NEW 2011 SEMINAR

The first European Rogue Film School is announced: our first European Rogue Film School will take place March 18-21, 2011, in the Greater London area. The format will follow the earlier Rogue Film Schools - a Friday evening casual "Meet & Greet", followed by three full days of intensive seminars led by Werner Herzog. Please see our DEADLINES page for specific dates and deadlines. There will be a Los Angeles (US) seminar later in the fall (October), but we are not accepting applications for that until AFTER the European seminar.

Los Angeles news

Werner Herzog's latest film, "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" will have a red carpet screening at AFI Film Festival 2009. It will be shown on Wednesday, November 4th at 7 pm; tickets will be available starting October 16, 2009. "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" opens in select theaters on November 20, 2009. This film is a good example for questions regarding casting, dark humor and the use of music.
